Sing it Leona.
This sentiment may not hold true for everyone, but there definitely appears to be a growing trend within the aging 90s celeb set. You know the one the one I’m talking about, right? The one where celebrities actually grow older, but somehow get hotter?
I like to call it ‘BonJovi Syndrome’ as an homage to the 40-something rocker who truly has gotten better (aesthetically anyway) with time.
Need more examples? See Jennifer Aniston (pre & post ‘the Rachel’), Bruce Willis (living free and dying hard), Demi Moore (um, pre & post Ashton), John Stamos (Uncle Jesse’s got nothin’ on that ER doctor), Jennifer Lopez (Jenny From the Block could learn a thing or two from today’s diva), Patrick Dempsey (went from 80s geek to MIA in the 90s (must have been a really bad awkward phase) to today’s McDreamy), and George Clooney (no explanation required, see above photo).
Better hair, better clothes, better skin, better bodies, the whole deal.
Regardless of whether or not it’s good genes, Pilates, the Zone or the alleged help of the surgical kind, something is working. And it’s giving me hope. I can take Pilates and eat a Zone bar. Some of my genes are above average. I figure 2.5 out of 4 ain’t bad.
Obviously when you’re famous, having all of the 90210 luxuries at your fingertips is certainly a plus. However, one enormous con is the fact that while our Wall of Shame 1995 prom photos are on display in mom’s living room, the aforementioned celebs find themselves on People.com’s What Were They Thinking page for all to mock and judge.
Score 1 for the little people.

I would include Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp on this list as well.
