I’m the Scatman!

I’m the Scatman!

Skibby dibby dip yo dibbo dip
Be bop bop ba dop bop
Ski Ba Bop Ba Dop Bop I’m the SCATMAN!
…or something.

Little did you know, John Paul Larkin, or “Scatman John” was a stuttering jazz musician/poet who turned his biggest problem into his biggest asset by creating a unique fusion of scat singing and dance music. He actually intended his #1 hit song to inspire children who stuttered to overcome diversity. At 52, the guy was a worldwide star. Wow.

RIP Scatman John - your Skiddly Bee Bop will forever live in our hearts.

I think you mean he intended the song to inspire stuttering children to overcome adversity, not diversity.
